How to Receive the Eternal Word Television Network in Europe (Including the UK and Ireland).

From Holy Thursday (20 April 2000) It has been possible to watch EWTN's wide variety of programs, designed to teach the Faith and foster growth in one's love and knowledge of God, in Europe and the British Isles.  On that day, EWTN launched a new satellite signal that will be available free of cost to any household from Iceland to Russia, from Finland to Malta.

EWTN's programming is currently transmitted via the satellite HOTBIRD 6.  It is possible for you to receive this transmission directly from the satellite once you have the proper equipment: (1) a dish/parabolic antenna of the recommended size (around 80 cm), a digital LNB (the central "eye" of the antenna), and a digital satellite "receiver" or "decoder".  A satellite equipment dealer will be able to provide you with this equipment and install it with the proper parameters for reception of EWTN's signal.  Just provide him with the following information:
