Orthodoxy  Gabriel's Trumpet is a monthly online Catholic newsletter for orthodox Catholics.  "Orthodox" here simply means those Catholics who accept the teachings of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

News and Comment  It will from time to time carry the sort of no-nonsense straight-talking articles that you will not find in the Catholic press in the UK.  Sadly the UK has no truly independent Catholic paper.  This means that while they may criticize the Church, and even promote heresy, they are nauseously sycophantic when it comes to the bishops, because the editors live with the very real fear that if they are robust in their comments, they may very quickly  join the dole queue.

Good and Services  GT will also from time to time carry adverts for goods and services of particular interests to Catholic, as well as promote apostolates and causes which we judge worthy of the support of modern Catholics.  To retain our strict independence, we do not accept paid advertising.

Humour  We believe that  humour and satire have their place in a Catholic newsletter and will be prominently featured from time to time.
