Islamic Government about to murder young mother for being a Christian - that's after they have flogged her - all highly approved of course by Allah, the god of Islam

[When reading the following, just reflect how many similar cases there may be that we never hear about because a) the victims apostatise, b) they do not have American husbands, or c) the western media is preoccupied with what Putin thinks of homosexuals (which doesn't include, as far as I'm aware, either flogging or murdering them).  Since this article was first written, the Sudanese government, bowing to international pressure, have intimated that Mrs Ishag may be released soon, but that in my books doesn't get them of the hook:  what sort of sociopaths leave a young pregnant woman, who has done absolutely nothing wrong, languishing in a Sudanese hell-hole of a jail under sentence of death and a lashing in the first place?  And what sort sick nut would want to embrace or remain in a religion that encourages and facilitates such barbarism in the twenty-first century? - ED]

The following is taken from the Remnant website:

MartyrdomDear Mr. Matt,

I was wondering if you have heard the story about the 27 year old Christian woman in Sudan being persecuted for being a Christian?  Her husband has dual citizenship and lives in New Hampshire and is fighting to save his wife's life.  She is in prison 8 months pregnant, along with her 18 month old baby boy.  As soon as she has this baby she is sentenced to 100 lashes and hanging.  My hope is that since her husband is an American, something can be done.

Please let’s spread the word to pray for this dear, brave woman.  As a mother of 9 children, I am just heartsick over this.  We are praying to St. Philomena.  Thank you, Mr. Matt. - Gwen Marbach from Pa

---oOo---

Dear Mrs. Marbach:

Indeed we have.  Meriam Yehya Ibrahim Ishag is a Sudanese woman who was born to a Muslim father but was raised by her Christian mother after her father abandoned the family when she was a child.  She was never a Muslim, but rather embraced the faith of her mother, an Orthodox Christian from Ethiopia.

The really powerful aspect to this story, however, is that Meriam is at this moment preparing herself for martyrdom.  After marrying a Christian, Daniel Wani, a Sudanese immigrant with U.S. citizenship, Meriam was sentenced to 100 lashes for adultery since a court ruled that her marriage to a Christian violated Sudan’s Islamic law.  After her conviction, the 27-year-old was given three days to deny her Christian faith.  She refused.  Let me repeat that: SHE REFUSED!

She, her unborn baby and her 20-month-old son are currently in prison awaiting the execution, which is scheduled to take place sometime after Meriam gives birth to the baby.

The international community is rightfully outraged, and a great deal of pressure is being applied to force the government of Sudan to spare Meriam and her children.  In the meantime, this heroic woman presents a shining example to the whole world on how to live the Christian faith … even when asked to die for it.

Remnant readers are encouraged to join the worldwide effort to save Meriam.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

by: Patrick Lawler

“The simplicity of the just shall guide them: and the deceitfulness of the wicked shall destroy them” Proverbs 11:3

How many times have we heard phrases like: “Well, you know, it’s just not as simple as that”.  Or: “On complex issues such as this, one needs to adopt a much more nuanced approach”.  And even: “Nor do I believe that the papal magisterium should be expected to offer a definitive or complete word on every question which affects the Church and the world. It is not advisable for the Pope to take the place of local Bishops in the discernment of every issue which arises in their territory. In this sense, I am conscious of the need to promote a sound “decentralization”.” (Evangelii Gaudium 16)

Now, for each of the above, you may be tempted to say, “That’s a load of rubbish!” … or something to that effect; and you would, of course, be right.  However, if we are faithful, believing Catholics who fully accept every aspect of Catholic Truth and try our very best to live by the Faith, then we have all been in situations where we find ourselves involved in arguments with the ignorant, the misleading, the dishonest and the downright evil.  If you haven't, you’re just not getting out enough!

What you will recognise after even a few of these encounters is the way the people you are arguing with try to define reality according to their own opinions, beliefs and vested interests.  If you are unlucky enough to be arguing with an ‘intellectual’ who has been through the anti-civilisational indoctrination process that is today’s University ‘Education’, you will be met with a bewildering array of meaningless academic nonsense that, when wielded by someone with sufficient aggression and determination, can quite effectively shut down rational thought and debate.

Another thing you will notice is that relativism is now the unconscious default position of the vast majority of people in our society on every issue.  This cannot be overemphasised; moral relativism, intellectual relativism, political relativism, cultural relativism – it really doesn’t matter what you put in front of it, “relativism” is unquestioned, unexamined and all-pervasive.

Now, the object of this series of essays is, as the title suggests, enabling readers to cut through the false complexity we find everywhere today deliberately generated around religious, moral, ethical, political and economic issues.  So, I thought I may as well start with THE BIG ONE, Objective Reality.  In fact, this is the root of all the rest of the issues I will be addressing in this series and everything that follows will be based on and return to the ideas expressed here.

It is important to state at the outset that you will not find in-depth philosophical analyses or surveys of different schools of thought or endless quotes and references in these essays; they are not meant for an academic audience, they are meant for ordinary Catholics who are commissioned, by virtue of our baptism and confirmation, to proclaim and defend Truth and combat falsehood.

The First One: Objective Reality

It all comes down to one simple and inescapable question: “Either there is an objective reality, existing outside you and me, not at all dependent on how either you or I feel about it or there isn’t.  That is it. That is all.  That is the root question.

Anyone who answers in the negative: i.e. “There is no objective reality, existing outside you and me, not at all dependent on how either you or I feel about it.” ... or who refuses to answer it – using absolutely any ‘clever’ or ‘sophisticated’ arguments:

Well, that’s all a matter of interpretation, isn’t it?”
“Well, it depends on what you mean by “reality”, doesn’t it?”
“Well, there’s really no way to know that, is there?”
“I think we all create our own reality”
“Ah, that’s what all the philosophers have always been arguing about, isn’t it?” etc, etc.

has instantly forfeited the right to be taken seriously or, in fact, to be listened to at all….by anyone…..ever…..until they recant.

[WARNING TO “CHURCH OF NICE” ADHERENTS, THE FOLLOWING IS “HARSH”, “DIVISIVE”, “UNCHARITABLE” AND – eek! – “JUDGEMENTAL”]

Anyone who is either unable or unwilling to acknowledge the plain and simple truth of objectively existing reality is stupid, dishonest or evil.

There, have we got that?  Just in case, I’ll restate it:

Anyone, absolutely anyone – Pope, Cardinal, Archbishop, Bishop, Priest, Deacon, Professor, Politician, Scientist, Philosopher, Shop assistant, Hairdresser, Neurosurgeon, Astronaut, Secretary, Teacher - who ever, under any circumstances whatsoever, at any time tries to tell you in ANY formulation of words that everything is relative and there is no absolute, objectively existing reality apart from what we each subjectively experience is either stupid, dishonest or flat-out evil.

Why are they stupid?

As St Paul says, “Because that which is known of God is manifest in them.  For God hath manifested it unto them.  For the invisible things of him, from the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made; his eternal power also, and divinity: so that they are inexcusable.” (Romans 1:19-20, emphasis added).  In other words, we are endowed by God with the ability to apprehend the coherence and reality of His created order and, through reason, to reach the truth of His existence as the Creator.

Why are they dishonest?

Because of the above! Scratch a relativist/modernist (same thing) and, underneath all the ‘clever’ and ‘sophisticated’ arguments they come up with to deny the truth, you will find the raw-meat reality that they very much enjoy their immorality and sin. The last thing they want is to acknowledge that there is a real world of real consequences where their behaviour may be judged and circumscribed by the laws of that world and, most importantly, by the Law Giver.

Why are they evil?

If they don’t fall into the first two categories, then they are dangerous, indeed!   Because they KNOW and UNDERSTAND objective reality and ALL it connotes and demonstrates of the reality of God.  And they deliberately deny it and attempt to lead other souls to error, sin and eternal damnation.

It is absolutely crucial we get over the crippling effects of politically-correct enforced “niceness” and call people out when they are being stupid and, especially, when they are being dishonest or evil.  Civilisation is at stake; lives are at stake; and, most important of all, souls are at stake.

There are many ways objective reality can be demonstrated, one of my favourites is the following, which, I readily admit, I have simply lifted from Catholic Philosopher, Peter Kreeft: ask, whoever you are talking to, the following question:

What’s your favourite drink?  (If they start hedging at this very first point, you know instantly you are talking to a dishonest person – if they tell you their favourite drink, so far so good)

OK, so, let’s say I offer you a (use their favourite drink) What would you say?  (Again, if they start coming out with things like, “Well, maybe I’m not thirsty at this point” or any other such variant, you’ve got a dishonest person in front of you.  If they say, “Yes, please”, or something similar, carry on. If you actually have a drink available, use it as a prop, it makes the example more concrete).

Here’s your drink. Oh, I almost forgot, there might be some cyanide in that drink. Now, what’s really important at this point? How you subjectively experience or feel about that drink, how I subjectively experience or feel about that drink, or what’s actually in that drink?
(The ONLY honest answer to this question is, “What’s actually in that drink”, any, ABSOLUTELY ANY other answer is dishonest and they’re giving it because they KNOW you’ve caught them out)

When faced with a stupid or dishonest person, we need to extend mercy and charity to them. That means we must relentlessly, directly and openly show to them and to anyone else watching the exchange that they are deluded and/or dishonest.  Being “nice” to them is the most unmerciful and uncharitable thing you can do to them.

Why is this? Because relativism denies God’s created order and, thereby, denies God (that’s the whole POINT of relativism).  Because, if you do not “man-up” and do your Christian duty, “To instruct the ignorant” (one of the Seven Spiritual Works of Mercy), given the all-pervasiveness and acceptance of the error of relativism in our society today there is a very good chance the person you are speaking to will never grasp the Truth and will die in that error.  Because relativism leads directly to sin, especially mortal sin, which is called “mortal” as it kills the life of God within each of us and cuts us off from salvific grace.  If we die in a state of mortal sin we go STRAIGHT. TO. HELL. FOR. EVER - “Do not pass Go, do not collect £200”.  Our Blessed Lord does not want anyone to go to hell and He has personally commanded each of us individually (that’s me and you) to be merciful and charitable until it hurts!  There is no room for “niceness” when a soul is at stake, ANYONES soul, even someone who’s every belief, idea and action you loathe and detest.

Have we found the new Athanasius?

Athanasius SchneideMany good Catholics are troubled, and rightly so, by the prospect that the October upcoming synod on the family may seek to undermine the Church's tradition on marriage by offering Holy Communion to Catholics living in a sexual relationship with someone to whom they are not, canonically speaking, legitimately married.  Their anxiety is understandable given the mood music coming out of the Tower of Babel that is post-Conciliar Rome.

Concerns about this synod was recently posed to an excellent east-European bishop, Bishop Athanasius Schneide.  His response was clear, direct and simple (i.e. none of the "nuanced" speaking out of both sides of their mouths at once that is apparently mandatory for most of his compromised UK counterparts) - the following is accurate to the best of my memory:

"The sixth commandment, 'You shall not commit adultery,' is of God, not of man or the Church.  Therefore, no pope, no bishop and no synod has the authority to abrogate the commandment or water it down.

Synods are not infallible.  If the Synod or Pope attempts to undermine this truth of the faith, then your duty as a Catholic, a duty that is imposed on you by your baptism and confirmation, is to disobey.  Your duty as a Catholic is to obey God rather than man, and to uphold the Catholic faith that comes to us from the Apostles."

Such simple clear truth, which before the Council was de rigueur for a Catholic bishop, was received by his listeners like a blast of fresh air.  The effect on this man was like opening the french doors and walking out onto a beautiful sunlit garden after a long debilitating illness.

Here are the facts about an alleged meeting between the Pope and Bishop Fellay on
December 13, 2013. (Source: SSPX/MG - DICI 05-12-2014)

On May 10, 2014, the English blog Rorate Caeli published under the pseudonym "Adfero", some "exclusive information" whose sources could not be - according to him - disclosed. This "exclusive information", spread by the media, revealed that Bishop Bernard Fellay, Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X, met with Pope Francis. On May 11, the Roman agency I.Media published that Bishop Fellay’s two assistants, Fr. Niklaus Pfluger and Fr. Marc-Alain Nely, had attended the Pope’s private Mass.

Frs. Pfluger and Nely have never attended the Pope’s private Mass, and journalists who claim otherwise would have a hard time to indicate the day of the alleged assistance. Here are the facts:

On December 13, 2013, Bishop Fellay and his assistants went to Rome for an informal meeting at the request of the Ecclesia Dei Commission. Following this interview, the Secretary of the Commission, Msgr. Guido Pozzo, invited his counterparts for lunch at St. Martha House's dining room where they were joined by Archbishop Augustine Di Noia, Assistant Secretary of the Congregation of the Faith.  It is in this large refectory that the Pope takes his daily meals, away from other guests.

Msgr Pozzo insisted on introducing Bishop Fellay to the pope while the latter was leaving the refectory.  There was a brief exchange where Pope Francis said to Bishop Fellay, according to the usual polite formula, "I’m very glad to meet you."  To this, Bishop Fellay answered that he was praying a lot, and the pope asked him to pray for him.  Such was the "meeting" that lasted a few seconds.

In the interview he gave to Le Rocher (April-May 2014), Bishop Fellay answered the following question: "Has Rome made an official approach to renew contact with you since the election of Pope Francis?"

"Rome made a ‘non-official’ approach to renew contact with us, but nothing more, and I have not asked for an audience as I did after Benedict XVI’s election.  For me, things at present are very simple: we stay as we are.  Some concluded from my close contact with Rome in 2012 that I regard the necessity of a canonical recognition as a supreme principle.  Preserving the Faith and our traditional Catholic identity is essential and remains our first principle."

Before the renewed homofascist onslaught on Europe and the family, it is the French who are leading the resistance

In 1939 the Armies of the German Nazis, it units commanded in a significant number of cases, by homofascists, stormed across Europe.  The French tragically collapsed before the onslaught, with barely a shot fired in anger.  Millions of Allied lives were lost before France was finally liberated.

It is deeply gratifying therefore to note that before the renewed homofascist onslaught on Europe and the family, it is the French who are leading the resistance.  Whilst the English, too compromised by their acceptance of the dictatorship of relatavism to resist, have simply rolled belly up before the onslaught.

Even if you cannot read or speak French, you should find the following video inspiring.  I think you will get the gist of it.  The video opens by quoting varius French ministers (I would guess mostly Masons) trottle out the usual garbage from the secular assylum, the video then dramtically strikes it out and shows a picture of the growing French resistance.  This is the resistance that the media in general, and the BBC in particular, would rather you didn't know existed.  But take heart, in spite of the media blackout, this resistance has now spread to Spain and Italy.  One can also take heart from the fact that the whole of Eastern Europe is solidly pro-family.  My guess is that people who earn their livelihood from toiling the soil, instinctively see the natural law as non-negotiable.  A Kazakhstan, just for example, may well be sofisticated enough to believe that a man who suffers from the disorder of same-sex attraction should be treated with kindness, but he has not so sold his soul to the dictatorship of relativism to believe that this requires him to legalise or encourage unnatural acts and depravity.

Another dimension that I find inspiring is that the resistance is overwhemingly led and supported by youth.  One finds a similar phenomenon in the pro-life movement, it is the young now calling the shots.  There is no natural explanation for this; it is, I believe, the genesis of Our Lady's promise at Fatima that her heart will eventually reign.

I particularly like the slogan at the end of the video, "Un père, une mère: droit élémentaire."   Which loesely translates, "A mother and a father, it's simple dickheard!"

dnaWhen someone speaks about the alphabet, we tend to instinctive thint of the Latin alphabet with which we are all familiar, A, B, C etc.  However, alphabets come in all shapes and  sizes: semaphore is an alphabet, as is Morse code.

It would be entirely possible to construct an alphabet out of snooker balls for example.  The snooker balls could be arranged in groups of four and (restricting oneself to just three colours) one would have eighty-one possible permutations, and we only need twenty-six or so.

If in our imaginary alphabet let's say "A" = blue dotblue dotred dotblue dot , "F" = red dotred dotred dotred dot, "H" =, blue dotblue dotblue dotblue dot, "L" = green dotgreen dotgreen dotgreen dotand "U" = blue dotblue dotred dotgreen dot

In which case:  blue dotblue dotblue dotblue dot   blue dotblue dotred dotblue dot   green dotgreen dotgreen dotgreen dot  red dotred dotred dotred dot        red dotred dotred dotred dot    blue dotblue dotred dotgreen dot  green dotgreen dotgreen dotgreen dot   green dotgreen dotgreen dotgreen dot would spell "HALF FULL".

But the absolutely crucial point to understand is that this is only meaningful if you speak English.  If you speak French or Chinese all you have in front of you is random nonsense, random coloured balls.

DNA can be conceived of in the above terms, an "alphabet" constructed of coloured beads, which carries the instructions for a human being, a daffodil or whatever.  But the crucial point is that DNA doesn't actually do anything; it is merely a string of coded instructions, like the assembly instructions for a Boeing.  Instructions do nothing unless someone who understands the language in which the instructions are written, reads them and then carries out the instruction.  Similarly the DNA has to be "read" and the instructions carried out.  Within every living cell there is an "interpreter" that does just that, reads and then executes the instructions written in the DNA alphabet.

Even more amazing is that modern geneticists have discovered that there is more than one DNA "language".  So some species have the same DNA "alphabet" writing instructions in a different language!  It is as if the mother tongue of some DNA "interpreters" is English but other "interpreters" speak Japanese, so the DNA has to write its instructions in a different language for some species.

Once you begin to understand this, the secular creation myth of blind evolution becomes not just nonsense but nonsense on stilts.

There is a sort of parable put out by secularists to answer the objections raised by creationists.  It goes something like this: if you have a million monkeys banging away on word-processors 24/7 for a million years, it is possible that one of them could inadvertently write the complete works of Shakespeare just by accident.  Aside, one might reasonably retort, theoretically possible but still astronomically improbable.

However, what modern genetics clearly shows is that it is far more extraordinary than that, with each species having it own coded instructions written in the DNA "alphabet",  in the specific language of the "interpreter", our monkeys would by sheer chance, have to write the complete works of Shakespeare on the Monday, War and Peace on the Tuesday and Lord of the Rings on Wednesday ... and keep up this amazing achievement millions of times over - with a complete new set of instructions for each new species.

Human rights have come on leaps and bounds in Afganistan since the American and British invasion.

Personal Status Law in Afghanistan

Consider first the Shia Personal Status Law enacted into law by President Karzai, assumedly to appease a hard-line Shia cleric. The law not only grants exclusive rights to child custody to the father or grandfather but also requires women to ask for their husband or father’s permission before leaving the home. The only time a woman would be allowed to leave home without such permission is if she has “reasonable legal reasons” which are conveniently left unspecified.

Other provisions of the law are even more alarming. In the words of women’s rights activist Wazhma Frough, “the law allows men to even deny food or any support to their wives if they refuse to have sex with them.”  Other provisions of the law make it possible for men to legally marry children, thus facilitating the custom of child marriage pervasive in rural Afghanistan.

According to Afghan female parliamentarian Shinkai Karokhail, the current law is nevertheless an improvement from the previous version which had made it impossible for women to leave the home without male permission under any circumstances and required them to have sexual relations with their husbands once every four days.  Well thats good to know.

A Link Hiding in Plain Sight

The homosexual movement’s push for adult-child sex

By: Matt Barber

April 28, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Shocking allegations by former child actor Michael Egan against openly “gay” “X-Men” director and producer Bryan Singer have stunned Hollywood into relative silence.  I say “relative silence” because, unless he’s a Catholic priest, the relativist left’s false narrative is that a “gay” man is always the victim and never the victimizer.

Nonetheless, this latest episode has once again shined the spotlight on the long-established link between the homosexual lifestyle/movement and pedophilia – a link that, despite “progressive” denials to the contrary, is hiding in plain sight.

Egan has filed suit against Singer and several other high-profile Hollywood figures for homosexually assaulting him and other boys repeatedly at several “‘infamous‘ coke and twink pool parties” back when Egan was 15 and Singer was 32. (In the “LGBT” vernacular “twinks,” also called “chicken,” are highly sought-after underage boys used for sex by adult “gay” men.)

Egan’s claims eerily mirror those of former child actor Corey Feldman who similarly alleged last year that such homosexual abuse is rampant, even systemic, in Hollywood.

But are these allegations really that shocking?  Regrettably, the overwhelming weight of the evidence indicates that the abuse runs rampant well beyond just Hollywood.

To be sure, not all homosexuals are pedophiles. Yet a grossly disproportionate number of them are. I don’t write this to be insensitive, “hateful,” intolerant or “homophobic.”  It’s “just the facts, Ma’am.”

Consider, for instance, a study published in the left-leaning Archives of Sexual Behavior of over 200 convicted pedophiles and pederasts.  It found that “86 percent of offenders against males described themselves as homosexual or bisexual.”  This demonstrates, as notes Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council, that “homosexual or bisexual men are approximately 10 times more likely to molest children than heterosexual men.”

This makes perfect sense when coupled with another 2001 study in the same peer-reviewed publication. It found that nearly half of all “gay”-identified men who participated in research were molested by a homosexual pedophile as boys: “46 percent of homosexual men and 22 percent of homosexual women reported having been molested by a person of the same gender.  This contrasts to only 7 percent of heterosexual men and 1 percent of heterosexual women reporting having been molested by a person of the same gender.”

The connection between homosexual abuse and “gay identity” is undeniable. Although clearly not all “gay”-identified men and women abuse children, or were abused as children, the verifiable reality is that an alarmingly high percentage of them do and were. As with most forms of abuse, the cycle is both circular and vicious. “Born that way?” Not so much. “Made that way?” Sadly, it appears so.

An example of how wonderfully tollerant atheists are, unlike those wicked medieval Catholics.

China, May 21, 2014: The campaign of persecution against Christians in Zhejiang, China, has led to the destruction of places of worship, the removal or obliteration of crosses, and a month-long clashes between Christians and police over churches and other places of worship.  Meanwhile, the plan to demolish the "Jerusalem of the East" proceeds relentless.

More than 60 churches in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, have received a demolition notice, have had some of their annexes demolished and crosses either removed or covered.

The city of Wenzhou (known as the Jerusalem of the East because of its sizable Christian community) has had the most churches demolished.

Yongjia County has the largest number of churches with crosses removed, and Sanjiang Church in Yongjia County, which cost 30 million yuan (US$ 4.8 million) to build, was demolished.

Due to pressure from the authorities, a few churches have not been able to send us timely information on demolition.

Following the campaign of church and crosses demolition in Wenzhou, there are signs that in late May, the authorities will start to outlaw house churches used by Christians who do not want to join state bodies. Some sources suggest that the government will start with 85 churches.

Some churches in Yongjia County, Wenzhou, have also been ordered to stop Sunday school programs offered to minors.  To read more click HERE

On the Lighter Side

An Eight Year Old's Explanation of God. I wonder if many of us could have done better

The following was written by an 8-year-old named Danny Dutton, who lives in Chula Vista , CA . He wrote it for his third grade homework assignment, to 'explain God.' I wonder if any of us could have done better?   (and he had such an assignment, in California , and someone published it - I guess miracles do happen!)

EXPLANATION OF GOD

One of God's main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth. He doesn't make grownups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make.  That way he doesn't have to take up his valuable time teaching them to talk and walk.  He can just leave that to mothers and fathers.

God's second most important job is listening to prayers.  An awful lot of this goes on, since some people, like preachers and things, pray at times beside bedtime.  God doesn't have time to listen to the radio or TV because of this.  Because he hears everything, there must be a terrible lot of noise in his ears, unless he has thought of a way to turn it off.

God sees everything and hears everything and is everywhere which keeps Him pretty busy.  So you shouldn't go wasting his time by going over your mom and dad's head asking for something they said you couldn't have.

Atheists are people who don't believe in God. I don't think there are any in Chula Vista.  At least there aren't any who come to our church.

Jesus is God's Son.  He used to do all the hard work, like walking on water and performing miracles and trying to teach the people who didn't want to learn about God.  They finally got tired of him preaching to them and they crucified him.  But he was good and kind, like his father, and he told his father that they didn't know what they were doing and to forgive them and God said O.K.

His dad (God) appreciated everything that he had done and all his hard work on earth so he told him he didn't have to go out on the road anymore. He could stay in heaven.  So he did. And now he helps his dad out by listening to prayers and seeing things which are important for God to take care of and which ones he can take care of himself without having to bother God.   Like a secretary, only more important.

You can pray anytime you want and they are sure to help you because they got it worked out so one of them is on duty all the time.  You should always go to church on Sunday because it makes God happy, and if there's anybody you want to make happy, it's God!  Don't skip church to do something you think will be more fun like going to the beach.  This is wrong.  And besides the sun doesn't come out at the beach until noon anyway.

If you don't believe in God, besides being an atheist, you will be very lonely, because your parents can't go everywhere with you, like to camp, but God can.  It is good to know He's around you when you're scared, in the dark or when you can't swim and you get thrown into real deep water by big kids.

But you shouldn't just always think of what God can do for you.  I figure God put me here and he can take me back anytime he pleases.  And that's why I believe in God.
